I

Hello and welcome to this site my name is Gemma i first became a professional pet sitter in 2006 when i started working for a national pet sitting company which gave me years of hands on experience and made me aware that there is huge potential for a dog walking and petsitting business in my area.

With that in mind i formed "paws on hearts pet care'' 2 years ago, unfortunately due to some health problems and some unforeseen circumstances paws on hearts had to temporary close for 4 months, great news we are back and here to stay we have rebranded ourselves as "Lets go Walkies" and really excited about the future and meeting our furry friends again.

Here are some FAQ which will hopefully answer any queries you may have.

What does registered and insured mean?

Becoming a registered pet sitter is a bit like becoming a child minder you wouldn't want just anyone looking after your child so thats why its important to have a registered petsitter for your pet ,it shows we are serious about our business and have joined the national petsitter register which involved a national petsitter representative coming to visit us in our own home, 2 references from reputable people/companies one of which was Grendon cat shelter, a police check we also have to follow a code of conduct and have third party liability insurance for more information please click on the picture link above.

I want to book your services what happens now?

You can either phone us or email us to ask if your holiday dates are avaliable, if they are we will arrange to meet up more nearer the going away date and will need to fill in an agreement form which covers information such as your pets diet and routine, there veterinarian details and any behavioral issues we need to be aware of, the consultation visit is free and lasts approx. 30 min its a great time for us to meet your pet and will let them recognize us when we see them for the first time, you will also need to have a spare key avaliable at the time of meeting otherwise a key collection fee may apply.

Will my key and information be kept safe?

Yes all keys which are not in use are kept in a locked key coded safe, when they are in use they are kept on us at all times, your information is never kept in same place as key so your info and key are not linked in any way.

Please note that if you cancel a visit with less than 24 hrs notice the full visit price will still apply
